I have got many answers on my “Costume market research” mail and I want
to
thank everyone that has answered.
There are some things that I want to answer to some of them.
I say that the costumes come from historical movies and in some of the
answers
I can read that the movies cannot be called “historical” because the
costumes
does not follow the real history.
I don´t understand why the movies can´t be called “historical”. I have always
think that the movies are historical when the story
is historical and I will always
think that.
Now I want to tell a little bit more about how I dream that my museum
will look
like. I want to show the costumes on “real”
mannequins. That means mannequins
that have heads and faces like real humans. Then I
want to have these mannequins
in rooms that have furniture and other things
like lamps, mirrors and paintings on
the walls.
I also dream of having special made wigs to the mannequins that look
like the ones
in the movies.
It will not be a museum with only the costumes on display.
A great example for how I dream of having my museum is
It will look like the mannequins are people “living” in the rooms of the
museum.
I don´t know yet if I should mix the costumes
and have some of the dresses from
a couple of movies from different eras in the same room
or if I should have for
example Regency movies in some rooms
and Renaissance movies in other rooms.
What do you think?
I hope that I will get more answers to my “Costume market research” mail
soon.
To all of you that have got one and haven´t
answered yet: Please, answer as soon
as possible. It is very important for me.

I have plans to open a new website.
On that site I will show my own collection of dresses when they are on
display.
I hope that I will be able to open a small museum soon.
I hope you will like the new website as much as this one.
I have got many questions about how I will get the money for my project
and I
have thought a lot on that. I have come to think
about donations.
If there are anyone who have a better answer to that question just send
me an
email and tell me.
I have send a question to some people about my
dream to open the museum.
The question is about their thoughts about the museum.
I call that email “Costume market research”.
If you have got one of these emails, please answer to it as soon as
possible.

Now my website has been bigger than before!
Many new movies has come to stay on it.
It is only one thing. I can´t take photos from
movies that is´nt made in Region 2.
All movie bought in Amerika is in Region 1 and
I can´t play them in
Some of the movies I waiting most for are:
Napoleon and Josephine (TV-series), Catherine the great, Young Catherine
and
Massada (TV-series).
Are there anyone out there who know when those movies come out on DVD in
Region 2? Email me!
Many things has happened since last time I
updated.
One big thing is that I have shown my collection of movie dresses on
display for the
first time. My biggest dream is to be able to open a
museum where I can show them
every day.
But there is one big problem.
I don´t know how to start and I can´t find anyone who want to help me.
Therefore I want you to write to me and tell me what you think and maybe
if you have
any idea about how I can make my dream come true.
My mail address: alexandralindgren@yahoo.se
So look around on my website and tell me what you think.
I will show some photos of my dresses on display soon.

Well, what has happened in my life so far?
To start with, the to cats on my the first page
on this website is both gone. The black
one, Ayesha, got sick
and died in summer 2006. The white one, Electra, vanished without
a trace a couple of years before. I tried to find her
but no one had seen or heard anything.
We had other animals too, my sister had two dogs, Simba
and Leo, (Leo is shown on a
photo on my first page on this website, Simba will come later). It is only Leo left of those
two. Simba died in
winter 2006.
The familys animals now is
the Siamese cats Shiva, Gollum, Phantom and Ying-Yang.
We still have dogs in the family also. They are Leo, Nemo
and the little puppet Nadir.
There is one more thing worth to mention. In the autumn 2006 came a
little girl to the
family. She was adopted from Kina and was only almost
3 years old when she came to
