About me

Me and my friends! Who am I?

I am standing in the middle of the picture above between Princess Diana and Dalai Lama at Madame Tussauds in London in november 2003. I was in London with my father to see Rhapsody in Rock at Royal Albert Hall. Besides the wax cabinet in London we also went to Madame Tussauds at Warwick Castle shown on the picture below.

Inside the castle I had the opportunity to take pictures of wax dolls with beautiful old clothes and some of the photos I will show in another section of the site.

I love to travel but I don´t have the opportunity very often. Besides journeys in Sweden and visits to the neighbouring countries Norway, Finland and Denmark I have so far only seen Mallorca, London, Paris and New York. A planned trip for a couple of weeks in september 2001 to California and Nevada was cancelled in the last minute because what happened in New York and Washington on september 11^th but I still dream of getting there as soon as possible. Another goal is eastern Europe, perhaps next summer.

I live on my own in the northern part of Sweden in an apartment near my parents and my elder sister and her family. I have three cats. My sister, who is a veterinarian has three cats and two dogs. Two of the cats are Siameses and brothers. My sister has one of them and I own the other. The rest of the cats are common domestic cats. Both dogs are Tibetan Spaniels. When I grew up we had two lovely dogs in the family. Both were Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I also got a Guinea Pig of my own but she had three more hidden inside when she came so after a little while I had four of them, two male and two female, which ment three cages to clean instead of one! But I didn´t mind! Pictures of the animals and more about them is to be found in separate sections.

I am a part time adult student and part time learning how to sew clothes. I study subjects on college level, right now mathematics and history. In my work I mostly sew different theater costumes for children in community nurseries.

In my spare time I am mostly occupied with my head interests which are my cats but also to study beautiful costumes from movies and old times in general and to collect beautifully dressed dolls.

I look for what I like on the Internet and in books and hope that I eventually will be able to get some of the dresses I am most fond of made for me!
